PetSafe Wall Install Kit for Electronic SmartDoor

Allowing for easy installation of the Large PetSafe Electronic SmartDoor in any interior or exterior wall up to 7 1/4" thick, the wall conversion kit is designed for traditional framing and drywall construction (2x4 or 2x6). For brick installation, the outdoor cutout must be able to accommodate the wall entry frame being recessed into the brick. This kit enables a small Electronic Pet Door to be installed in walls up to 8 inches thick, while the large Electronic Pet Door can be installed in walls up to 7 1/4 inches thick, with the option to add an additional 2 3/4 inches with each extension tunnel (not included in the kit).

Featuring a telescoping design, the kit allows for quick installation by framing the wall cut-out with ease. Inside the kit, you will find an exterior frame, tunnel, installation hardware, cutting template, and detailed installation instructions. The specifications for installation include walls ranging from 4 3/4" to 7 1/4" thick for interior or exterior walls, with thicker walls requiring the Wall Tunnel Extension for the Large Electronic SmartDoor, which is sold separately. The cut out size should be 14 7/16 x 21 15/16 inches in dimension.
