The system operates through a lightweight collar that your dog wears. This collar picks up signals from a buried wire, alerting your pet when he reaches the boundary. The in-ground boundary wire is sold separately, allowing you to choose the gauge that best suits your yard.
You can select from a variety of wires, including Standard (20 Gauge) and Heavy Duty (16 Gauge) in different lengths. The receiver collar is adjustable and waterproof, designed for dogs over 8 lbs. with neck sizes ranging from 6 to 26 inches.
Featuring four levels of static correction and a tone-only mode for training, the collar also includes a low battery indicator with an expected battery life of 1-2 months, depending on usage. The RFA-67 battery is easy to install for your convenience.
Additionally, you have the option to create keep-out areas within your yard, such as gardens, pools, and swing sets. A surge protector is available to safeguard your In-Ground Fence from surges or spikes.
